Job responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to assisting on residential plumbing and HVAC jobs. Tasks will very daily but can include helping with hot water tank installations, assisting with furnace and a/c installations and helping with power flushes. Previous drain cleaning experience is an asset for the successful candidate but not required.

A drivers abstract is required prior to employment to confirm that the candidate can be added to our corporate insurance policy.

Upon hiring a company vehicle and phone will be provided.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experience:

• plumbing: 1 year (preferred)

The successful candidate must have residential service experience, in addition HVAC experience would be an asset for this position

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
• Solder pipes and fittings together
• Assemble and install valves, fittings, and pipes composed of different materials
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure they meet code requirements
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Proficient in using hand tools and specialized plumbing equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions
• Strong mechanical knowledge to understand the functioning of plumbing systems
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues

Any previous hot water tank installation or repair work experience is an asset for the successful candidate. Job responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to installations of atmospheric and power vented hot water tanks, repair work on atmospheric and power vented hot water tanks, assisting when needed on various types of plumbing repair and service calls.
